Repository Policy
1. Introduction
IJASCE supports the open and unrestricted dissemination of scholarly work through self-archiving practices. In accordance with open access principles and the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI), this policy enables authors to deposit various versions of their manuscripts in publicly accessible repositories.
2. Scope
This policy applies to:

All article types submitted to and published in IJASCE

All versions of the manuscript, including preprints, postprints, and the final published version (Version of Record)

All publicly accessible repositories, both institutional and subject-based
3. Policy Statement and Guidelines
Authors publishing in IJASCE are encouraged to maximize the visibility and accessibility of their work by depositing their manuscripts in repositories of their choice.
3.1 Archivable Versions
Authors are permitted to archive the following versions of their manuscript:

Preprint: The original submitted version, before peer review

Postprint: The accepted manuscript after peer review, but before final copyediting and formatting

Published Version (Version of Record): The final, formatted article as it appears in IJASCE
Each version may be deposited under the journal’s license terms.
3.2 Licensing and Attribution
All deposited versions must:

Be shared under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0) license

Include a clear citation of the published article (if applicable)

State that the article is published or under consideration by International Journal of Advanced Science Computing and Engineering (IJASCE)
3.3 Repository Platforms
Authors may deposit their manuscript versions in:

General-purpose open repositories (e.g., ResearchGate, Academia.edu)

IJASCE imposes no embargo on deposit or access.
3.4 Linking to Published Article
When archiving a postprint or preprint, authors are encouraged to link to the final published version on the IJASCE website using the DOI to ensure proper citation and usage metrics.
4. Responsibilities
Authors must ensure that the version archived matches the permitted stage and complies with the licensing and attribution requirements.
Editors ensure this policy is communicated clearly during submission and acceptance.
Repositories hosting IJASCE content must honor licensing terms and metadata integrity.
