Journal Management and Ownership
1. Introduction
IJASCE is committed to transparency, editorial independence, and responsible governance. This policy outlines the journal’s ownership, sponsorship, and management structures, as well as principles that ensure the editorial process remains free from undue influence. It is guided by COPE Core Practices and the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing.

IJASCE is jointly organized and supported by:

3.1 Journal Ownership
IJASCE is an academic, non-profit, open access journal. The ownership and sponsorship are shared by the above academic and professional institutions. These entities provide infrastructural and administrative support but do not interfere with editorial decisions or journal content.
3.2 Editorial Independence
Editorial decisions are made solely by the editorial team and Editor-in-Chief based on the scholarly merit, originality, and relevance of submissions. Owners and sponsors:

The Editor-in-Chief is appointed based on academic merit and is provided with a formal agreement outlining duties, authority, and duration of appointment.
3.3 Editorial Board and Staff Roles
The journal’s editorial board is composed of independent scholars with relevant expertise. Their responsibilities include:

Board appointments are based on subject expertise, research integrity, and professional contributions, and are periodically reviewed.
The journal staff includes managing editors and technical editors who handle manuscript processing, production workflows, and publication logistics.
3.4 Sponsorship and Collaboration
IJASCE may collaborate with academic institutions or research societies for events, special issues, or funding support. All collaborations are documented and made transparent on the journal’s website. Financial or in-kind support does not affect content selection or editorial decisions.
3.5 Operational Infrastructure
IJASCE uses open-source journal management systems and repositories to support sustainable, community-led open access publishing. The journal does not charge publication fees (Diamond OA model).
The journal maintains digital preservation and archiving through institutional repositories and third-party services, as applicable.
4. Responsibilities
Owners and sponsors support infrastructure and funding without influencing editorial content.
Editors ensure academic independence and ethical publishing.
Editorial board members contribute to journal strategy and peer review.
Staff manage day-to-day operations and technical processes.
5. Process for Handling Breaches
Any allegations of editorial interference, mismanagement, or governance misconduct will be reviewed confidentially by the Editor-in-Chief and may be escalated to an independent advisory panel. Appropriate actions may include:
